Now that Dungeons and Dragon Online (DDO) went free to play. I went ahead and downloaded it. I recalled playing in the open beta some time ago. It was not a bad MMO however not worth the $14.99 month.

The new model (where you purchase these DDO points or earn them) is great. DDO is heavily instanced (feels like Guild Wars in some ways). However, it’s a nice part-time MMO alternative to my open world on WoW.
The game mechanics are little different from WoW and WAR. It's cool to see actual dice roles during combat (natural 20!).

I did find myself right clicking on stuff where you need to left click. And left clicking, thinking it controls the camera, and letting an arrow fly off to nowhere. I'll need to get use to it.

Graphics look good, not AoC. However plays smooth and has shadows on with DX10.
Defiantly work keeping installed for some part time play.
